I'm the opposite. I didn't like Skyrim's vampire mechanics. I absolutely love Oblivion's. It's perfect. It treats it like a daedric blood virus which is exactly what it is. Go without feeding and the virus strengthens, strengthening you and also weakening you to fire and the sun. You feed on blood and weaken the virus, reducing your strengths but also your vulnerabilities. It's perfect. I only wish I can see my fangs.
