If we consider the umbrella of Disney... And not just the franchise itself. Then a lot lot lot more options open up such as marvel, Jim Henderson productions and more. Miramax was purchased by Disney making pulp fiction a Disney movie...... Though I don't think any of those characters would work in Dreamlight valley. Just saying tho.

I think because it is about innocence and reconnecting with your inner child. With the few actual characters from each franchise ie buzz and woody from toy story. They could add slink, rex, Mr and Mrs potatohead, the cowgirl I forget her name, bopeep, the piggy bank I forget his name, the pink bear. Etc.

They could also add arther and the witch from sword in the stone.

Rumour has it Peter Pan is coming.

I also think there should be others from encanto, plus if they did snow white. We could get each of the 7 dwarfs too. They hint at cars so Tater and lightning would be a cool addition and that would also give us a new world I think where vanellope could race them..... Oh and we need more from wreck it Ralph.

There is SOOOO many they can do

It's always about the money.

Gameloft has always done this. Even making their free to play mobile apps require payment after an update. And even some of their games stop working.

Dreamlight valley is one of the best cozy games ( despite it being Disney ) that I have played. Even better than animal crossing. If they make it so some items are rare it pushes players to get them. To actually find the green chests.

I have found multiples of some items.

And have noticed some items being only available once.

But I think if it's in a realm then it's not in the valley.

I don't know if Scrooge's catalog changes depending on if you are in valley or the eternity isle. But I think it should base it's items on where the shop is.

Another borderlands themed game that should be brung out would be a claptrap themed Party game.

Kind of like crash bash. Lots of little mini games and solo puzzle games like matching pairs. But hosted by claptrap. (He did appear in a poker game before so that could be wrote into the lore besides we see claptraps playing cards in borderlands 2 ) CLAPTRAPS CrazY Carnival casino or something....

They could even work in some references to things claptrap said such as "dance for my enjoyment minion " or " being target practice is not part of our programming"

And since he loves to beatbox. A rhythm game could also be put into the party mix.

It would be fun for all the family.

Just a few ideas

Borderlands on 360 was a serious competitor to be a new franchise.

Then borderlands 2 came out and in my opinion was everything borderlands should have been.

Next came the wonderfully refreshing and totally re-educating pre-sequal that really should have linked up better (no spoilers here)

The tales from the borderlands sadly being a tell tale game was basically a spit in the wind held the missing link between 2 and 3 so unless one has slammed through it a lot of missed lore drops on players.

3 boasted 4 vaults. But felt like you could beat it 5 times over in the time it took to ace borderlands 1.

The re-release of borderlands as a goty became what the original should have been making it a nice full circle of development.

Tiny Tinas stand alone game wonderlands is only borderlands in the sence that it is themed. But delivered a different play style as did tales.

I haven't played the new tales yet.

But am a little worried as I wasn't a huge fan of the tales 1.

If the company continues to pull out genre different games in it's borderlands universe.

I would like to suggest a Warhammer/command and conquer style game where we get to play as a commander for Atlas or Hyperion in a conflict. Something like halo wars even.

I am looking forward to 4 but I hope they don't make the story short and fill the void with constantly changing and repeating DLC events.

What we do need though is more in-game mini game options... Ie bring able to play the jackpot machines and the arcade cabinet in other games. But maybe wager darts or a friendly card game like in fable or final fantasy 8 that players can do when they don't want to just be running around.
